Hi everyone, Mike Lanway here with All About FERS

For the last 20 years, I’ve been traveling the country helping federal employees just like you understand the full value of their FERS careers. I know things in Congress feel unstable right now, and that uncertainty can make anyone second-guess their future. But here’s the truth: your FERS career still holds powerful, long-term financial value.

Even if you can’t control what Congress does, you can control how well you understand your benefits. And that knowledge is key to protecting your financial future.

Don’t Underestimate What You Have

Too many people underestimate what their FERS package really includes. Your benefits go far beyond just a paycheck or pension. One of the most overlooked parts? Your FEHB (Federal Employees Health Benefits) plan.

That program allows you to keep quality health insurance well into retirement, often with your agency still covering 66% to 77% of the premium. That’s not small change. That’s a six-figure benefit over the course of your retirement. And it’s still very much on the table.

Even talk of changing it to a voucher system seems to have quieted down for now.

Understand How to Use It

The key is learning how to use these benefits while you’re still employed, and how to carry them with you after you retire. That’s why I want to invite you to our free 25-minute webinar on Thursday, July 24 at 12 PM Eastern.

We’ll cover:

  • How to get the most from your FERS career benefits
  • The hidden value in your FEHB coverage
  • How to make strategic decisions with or without congressional stability

Your Career Can Still Work For You

No matter what happens in Washington, your career still has a lot to offer. We can show you how to make the most of it.

Join us at AllAboutFERS.com to sign up for the webinar and start taking control of your financial future.

Looking forward to seeing you there,
Mike Lanway
